Zetamotion is exhibiting at VTG 2026, the 24th Vietnam International Textile & Garment Industry Exhibition, from 14 to 17 October at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. The show runs alongside VFM 2026, the Vietnam International Footwear Machinery & Material Industry Exhibition.

We are bringing our shoe inspection box to the stand. Visitors can watch a shoe go in, see it captured from five angles under controlled lighting, and follow as it compares each view against a golden reference, localises suspected defects and returns a pass or fail result.

If you manufacture footwear or textiles and want to see what automated visual inspection looks like on a real product, this is the easiest way to do it in person. Find us in Hall A at Booth A015

About VTG and VFM 2026

VTG is the country’s long-running textile and garment industry show, alongside VITATEX (textile and apparel accessories) and Dyechem.

This year it shares the SECC halls with VFM, billed as the largest footwear machinery and material exhibition in Vietnam, whose exhibitors cover footwear and injection machinery, materials and components, chemicals and adhesives, leather processing equipment, stitching machines and CAD/CAM systems.

The timing matters. Vietnam is the world’s third largest footwear producer, making around 1.4 billion pairs a year, and the second largest exporter, shipping roughly 1.3 billion. Leather and footwear exports reached 19.54 billion USD in the first eight months of 2026, against a full-year target of 29 to 30 billion USD.

That volume comes with pressure. Industry leaders have pointed to stricter quality requirements, sustainability criteria and traceability standards in the US and EU, the markets that take most of Vietnam’s output. Each of those depends on consistent, documented inspection at scale.

What we’re bringing: the Zetamotion shoe inspection box

The shoe inspection box is a self-contained inspection cell built by our technical team for exactly this kind of live demonstration. It is a compact enclosure on an open stand, with cameras and controlled lighting inside, designed to sit at the end of a conveyor or work as a stand-alone QC station.

Shoes are hard to inspect consistently. A single model can combine textile, leather, foam, rubber, adhesive and stitching around a complex three-dimensional shape, and each material reacts differently to light. The enclosure solves the first part of that problem by keeping lighting, camera positions and background the same for every pair.

The second part is the software. The box runs the same multi-view workflow we showed in our recent AI shoe inspection demo, where each shoe is checked from five angles against a clean reference for that specific model.

How the live demo works

Each inspection at the stand follows the same steps a production system would, with every stage visible on screen.

We will have a selection of footwear styles on the stand so visitors can see how the workflow handles different shapes and materials. On a real line, image capture, product matching, inspection and reporting all run automatically once a model has been onboarded.

Who we want to meet

We are coming to SECC to talk to the people who own quality on the factory floor. That includes:

  • Footwear manufacturers running final inspection, assembly QC or incoming material checks
  • Textile and garment producers at VFM dealing with fabric defects, roll-level QC or shade and finish variation
  • Quality, operations and plant managers looking to make manual checks more consistent and traceable
  • Machinery suppliers and integrators who want to add AI inspection to the equipment they already sell

For textile visitors, the same Spectron platform supports fabric inspection, defect mapping and roll-level reporting. Our guide to AI fabric inspection for textile quality control covers that side in more detail.
